Founders Win Fundraiser of the Year Award 2025

Lucianne and Antony Fitzgerald recognized for their outstanding dedication to mental health awareness

We're thrilled to announce that our founders, Lucianne and Antony Fitzgerald, have been awarded the prestigious Fundraiser of the Year 2025 at the end of season Kickstart FC awards ceremony. This recognition honors their tireless dedication and passion in raising awareness and funds for mental health support in our community.

Since founding Safe Haven Mental Health Project in 2021, Lucianne and Antony have raised over £38,000 for mental health charities through the annual Salisbury Mental Health Awareness Gala and various community initiatives. Their commitment to breaking the stigma around mental health continues to inspire our entire community.

Successful Charity Golf Tournament Raises £520

Aquabecco Ltd hosts fantastic golf day in support of Safe Haven

We're delighted to announce that the Aquabecco Charity Golf Tournament held at Weybrook Park Golf Club in Basingstoke was a huge success, raising £520 for Safe Haven Mental Health Project!

The event brought together golfers of all abilities for a wonderful day of sport, camaraderie, and fundraising. A huge thank you to Aquabecco Ltd for organizing this fantastic event, and to all participants who helped make it such a success. Every penny raised goes directly towards supporting mental health initiatives in our community.

Beekeeping Wellness Group Returns in 2026

Popular mental wellness sessions to restart in spring

Our Beekeeping Wellness Group has completed its sessions for the colder months and will be returning in early 2026! Led by experienced beekeeper Vicky Beeson, these sessions offer a unique opportunity to connect with nature, learn the art of beekeeping, and support your mental wellbeing in a peaceful, community setting.

The sessions are scheduled to restart around May 2026 in Netheravon, Wiltshire. No experience is needed – just curiosity and an open heart. This group is about more than honey; it's about healing, mindfulness, and community connection.

Charity Status Application in Progress

Safe Haven working towards registered charity status by early 2026

We're excited to share that Safe Haven Mental Health Project is in the process of applying for registered charity status, with an aim to complete this by early 2026. This important step will allow us to expand our reach, access additional funding opportunities, and better serve those in our community who need mental health support.

Since our founding in 2021, we've grown from hosting our first Salisbury Mental Health Awareness Gala to launching multiple community initiatives including wellness groups, fundraising events, and direct support services. Becoming a registered charity is the natural next step in our mission to provide comprehensive mental health support to our community.

We'll keep you updated on our progress and look forward to continuing this journey with your support.

Safe Haven Surpasses £38,000 in Donations

Four years of galas raise significant funds for mental health charities

We're proud to announce that through our annual Mental Health Awareness Galas and community events, Safe Haven has now raised over £38,000 for mental health charities. This incredible milestone represents four years of community support, dedication, and collective commitment to breaking the stigma around mental health.

100% of the proceeds from our galas have been donated to various mental health charities working tirelessly to support individuals in crisis. From therapy and counselling services to crisis intervention and community support programs, these funds are making a real difference in people's lives.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our mission – from attending our galas to volunteering, sponsoring events, or simply spreading the word. Together, we're creating lasting change.
